Four candidates vying for two spots on the Port Royal Town Council in next week's election commented about selling and redeveloping the town's port, attracting more businesses downtown and maintaining quality of life for all residents during a candidates forum Thursday.
Incumbents Vernon DeLoach and Mary Beth Gray-Heyward and newcomers Sally Germer and Julia Peters are competing for two at-large council spots. The seats will go to the top two vote-getters.
