One of the great things about Port Royal is all of the water! From boating to kyaking to just lying on the shore and enjoying the breeze, The Port is a water lovers paradise!

And if fishing is your thing, Port Royal has everything you could ask for! Last night, Patte and I walkd down to Dockside for a cocktail and ran into Captain Steve working the bar. It is always easy to spot Steve, he is the one with the permanent "Raccoon Eye" suntan! As usual, we asked him if he had been fishing today and as ususal he had a tall tale to tell.

July 4th Celebration at The Sands!

If you are familiar with PR, then you know that 10 cars driving down Paris Avenue in an hour is a traffic jam. Yesterday, I am pretty sure there was a whole years worth of traffic in our little town between the hours of 4pm and 11pm. I am not good at estimating crowds, but I think it is fair to say that a LARGE number of people came out to enjoy the show!

Thanks to the Town of Port Royal and the Port Royal Historic Foundation for a great time!
